Maisa Al Hooti is the owner and managing directress of Infocus Studio Oman. She studied photography in Bournemouth University, United Kingdom. Maisa had always been passionate about photography and is determined in not only improving her talent but also introducing change through inspiration.
She had learned from renowned photographers from other countries like Geroge Eid and Martin Prihoda. Through them, Maisa had acquired discipline and techniques essential in succeeding in the field of photography.
Maisa’s works had been recognized and awarded by the photography society through The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Awards (HIPA) and Emirates Falcons Photography.
She was also a part of the Ya Hiya exhibit by the Omani Women’s Association. Last May 2013, Maisa was able to hold an exhibit of her photographs in Bait Muzna, Operia Galleria entitled “ Rajasthan”.
For Maisa, photography is about witnessing the impact her pictures have to people.
She wants her photographs to be a means of giving people joy, hope and most of all, inspiration.
Rosy Abdo, born in Lebanon, holds a Master Degree in Journalism and a BA in Communication Arts from France & Lebanon.
Worked as Presenter & Producer in many Pan Arab TVs for more than 14 years, among them Aljazeera Channel.
During that time, she was also working as a freelancer on some projects of media, film and Events. Since 2007, she focused her work as an independent Producer under her own production house that was founded with Filmmaker Fouad Alaywan: Exit Film Production where she produced many short films, Documentaries, TV programs, Corporate Films.
Her main experience varies between TV Programs / Documentaries & Film (Presenter, Writer, producer, Production Manager to Executive Producer) with several writings for magazines, newspapers and online.
Since August 2010, she got into the production of Feature films, started the work as Producer & Executive Producer on Fouad Alaywan’s 1st Feature Film “ASFOURI” that was completed by end of 2012 and got many awards on International levels.
Rosy worked on the whole campaign of marketing, PR, Communication and distribution of ASFOURI film and many other projects as she also has a good knowledge in organization events and exhibitions.Languages: Arabic, English, French & Italian
